Giving back to the Community

Over the last 5 years we have been actively involved in charitable events and projects. This included supporting local orphanages, providing scholarships for earthquake victims in Mainland China and Taiwan, and establishing a kindergarten for Tsunami victims in Sri Lanka.

We offered a UKEAS-Nottingham joint full scholarship to Yan Jing, a student who is suffered in the Sichuan Earthquake on May 12, 2008, to enable her to study a master degree at the University of Nottingham.

In 2006 we raised the money to build a kindergarten for 80 orphans in the poor Hambanbota region of Sri Lanka. Our founder, John Smith, with local clergy and English teachers, in front of the UKEAS kindergarten, 2005.
