Brief History

  • We started to recruit students for UK universities in 1993 when the British government launched a strategic campaign to attract international students to study in the UK. With the brand of UKEAS (United Kingdom Education Advisory Service), we set up the first office in Taiwan to provide overseas study advisory services to local students. Till now we have 8 offices located in different cities in Taiwan. We are the first company in this field to offer free consulting services to students who want to pursue education in the UK.
  • By co-sharing our brand with a selected local partner, we opened our first mainland China office in Shanghai in 1998. After our local partner obtained authorized permit for providing overseas study services for students in China, we have seen an explosive expansion of our business in this country. Within a decade, we have successfully set up offices together with our local partners in most major cities in mainland China including Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou, Chongqing, Chengdu, Hangzhou, Nanjing, Ningbo, Wuhan, Qingdao, and Taizhou.
  • We set up our UK office in Oxford in 2000, Vietnam offices in HoChiMinh city and Hanoi in 2005, Philippine office in Manila in 2011, and a US office is in planning.
  • Since 1999 we have been working with institutions in other English speaking countries including Australia, New Zealand, US, Canada, and Ireland to recruit students from mainland China.
  • We started to be actively involved in helping students to study in US when the US student visa policy loosened to applicants from mainland China in 2007. Advising students to study in US has been on the fast track of development and will become one of the most important parts of our business.
  • We recruit much more students into UK higher education than anyone else that we are aware of in the industry and will continue placing more than 5,000 students in the UK, US, Canada, and Australia in 2011. We are aiming to increase our business by as much as 40% annually over the next 5 years in the most dynamic markets we are currently operating in, namely mainland China and Vietnam.
